you drew a movie clip, a gun and a background and used tweens and different alphas... not exactly the most technically advanced flash cartoon ever made, the punch line (if you could call it that) was unexpected but not exactly the funniest thing I've ever seen, this was really, really average.
to imrove add some more action, possibly blood and add a nozzle flare on the gun (or animate it a little more) throw some filter effects in there and jazz it up a bit

I know what I did, I'm the one who did it. Why repeat that to me? xD
If you'd read the commentary you'd have seen that I made this a few years ago. It was an assignment I finished in less than a 45 minute class period. But thanks for the response anyway.
If I had done this recently the entire thing would've been better overall.

i really really liked that, but no mention of the immortal lines
"its blood..... i hope it is not..................................
..................chris'.............
...........blood...."
"WHOAOW! you were almost a..... Jill sandwich!"
very VERY well done on this one the humor was great, you could actually see the game unfold through the cartoon.
Personally I'd have liked there to have been some form of transition between the scenes apart from the flashings of the colours of the keys darting left and right, I mean its what made your Charlie and the Lol factory so good with the "a lalalalala mexican dance" you could have done something like... oh i dont know.. have jil running from a load of zombies while some annoying kid shouts "BACKTRACKING YAY!"
in total its a 8/10 and a 4/5 keep up the good work! this parody rocked!
Author's Response:

"right heres an unbaised author by author review"
Firstly I've got to say I'm in an animating crew with Doomshock, farfenwaffle and Ethion, yet I'm going to give my personal opinion and some constructive critism towards each animator that took part in this collab.
KingKombat - scene 1
very poor use of frame by frame, filters used well but using a picture for the world instead of drawing one? Thats really REALLY lazy, looks really rushed and poor quality, in future work longer on the drawing and with the effects frame by frame them a little better 3/10
Farfenwaffle - scene 2
a much more entertaining fight, yet the characters seem quite rigid in the way they move, they dont flow with the sort of elequene that say Xiao Xiao, the filters were used well and the sound effects were pretty damn good too. In future use more drawings to fill in the gaps between frames as it looks quite rigid 7/10
Ethion - scene 3
very short and needs a lot of work, the area where enemies went through the floor and the walls were rather well done and total frame by frame made it good, but you need to work on the level drawing it looked a bit rough 4/10
Dominicansoldier - scene 4
Holy shit! now were getting better! excellent use of frame by frame on both the stickmen and the grapical effects like the 'magic' and the debris during the fight, very proffessionaly pulled off, i don't see anything to really pick up on 9/10
shruikann - scene 5
like i said with Farfenwaffle your animating is really rigid, you need to add some more keyframes in there to spice it up a little, I liked the graphical effect on the "breakback" move 7/10
Doomshock - scene 6
blood was perfectly drawn, excellent frame by frame, smooth fighting, brilliant and entertaing (although unfourtunatly short) fight, nothing could make this better 10/10 (other artists take note)
SHOQ - scene 7
now this one caught me off guard, i wasnt expecting something like this, good use of frame by frame, especially on the blood and i liked the effects of the screen flare the only thing i could pick up on was the was the guy exploded from a line of wire, (to be frank i didn't see how that could make a man explode) 9/10
alex-the-cow - scene 8
that made me laugh, a bit rigid but really good! liked the glow effect on 'jakie' and the afterimage on the slowmotion kick was alright, needs a bit of work though and a bit more action as the majority of the content was them talking, 5/10
Farfenwaffle - scene 9
as i said before make more keyframes between each movement to make it smoother, this one was a lot more fast paced that the first 8/10
dominicansoldier - scene 10
as stated before, excellent, this side of the animation shows off what yo can do even better 10/10
kingkombat - scene 11
right... really REALLY rigid animation, not exactly funny, when the guy got slammed against the wall he just stayed there, he SHOULD have slid down the wall if only a little, seems rushed to me, 1/10
Muharrem17 - scene 12
great fight, but no involvement with the environment, id love to see them leaping about the place 6/10
iLOTt - scene 13
now that was good, great animation, great backgrounds, great fight and funny to boot some people that worked on this collab could learn a lot by looking at stuff like this, 10/10
pieman123 - scene 14
very good, i like the way the scene was destroyed during the fight, but the was the blue stickman moved about when being hit was a bit unrealistic, 8/10
Muharrem17 - scene 15
I loved that one the only thing i could possibly say (its being pickey) is when one of the stickmen floated in midair for a brief time, it didnt look 100% right 10/10
In all, ill give it an 8 and a 3 out of 10, there are some brilliant stickfighting shorts here however they are dragged down with some of the other submissions. The artists I've given a lesser score to no offense but I'm giving a professional opinion on it.
Doomshock, SHOQ, iLOTt - (why wasnt he thanked?), Muharrem17 and dominicansoldier were in myeyes the stars of the show.
KingKombat, you may have ran the collab, but you need to improve the most, everyone else really outshone you.

The clock crew has certainly come a long way, from its roots of spamming it has matured into possibly the crew with some the most talented animators, and this flash is no exception.
This is up-most art, even its title is a clever use of a metaphor (I'm assuming you're reffering to the content and the multitude of characters as opposed to the actual music)
The frame by frame transitioning the characters was breathtaking, and synced with the music perfectly.
(what is the name of the song you used for it however? I'd like to download the full version)
all in all a 5/5 a 10/10 and a fave from me.
superbly pulled off
Author's Response:
Thanks for the review. Glad you appreciated and enjoyed it.
In response to the metaphor inquiry, indeed, you're one of the few who got it. Here's my response to another reviewer who asked about it:
"A symphony is a large and usually quite lengthy sonata designed for many instruments rather than just a few. It usually involves an entire orchestra with many different unique instruments that all make different sounds. All these different sounds, some rather unpleasant if heard alone (like the dull low throb of the trombone or the loud vibrating clash of the cymbal) while others absolutely beautiful alone(strings and pianos), all work together to produce a final even more beautiful result, usually a very powerful piece of music.
It's a metaphor."
.
As for the music, here's another response to a reviewer:
""Battle at Witch Creek" A beautiful piece that came to popular attention when it was featured in the classic PC game "Rise of Nations"."

OMFG! DIS IS OBVIOUSLY STOLEN LOLOLLOLOLOL!
*ahem*
Congratulations on finally finishing this immense project, both Moonkey, and JAZZA. It was as impressive as it was hyped up to be, this has to be the only flash game that I've played through, unlocked everything, played through again, then played through it a final time trying to (as the technical name goes) fuck the game, yet to no avail... the code is completely ironed out and (seemingly any way) Bug free.
Moonkey, your scripting is impeccable, not one error I could find even when actually searching for ways >:( JAZZA may have done the art work but behind the scenes the amount of headaches you must of had putting this together... well Jesus, congratulations on getting it done, out of the pair of you working on this game, you are the real driving force
JAZZA, the art work was breathtaking, if you don't get one of those shiny tank trophies (or 'tankies' as I would call them) for best game art, I'm booking the first flight to Glenside, PA to kick Tom Fulp up the arse and shout obseneties at him. Loyal to the series and superb animation and 'Fable' like cut-scenes this ones a classic and a sure winner.
Overall, 10/10 - 5/5
Sheer Mystic Fucking Awesomeness.

yeah I was introduced to the game when I was on the london underground, a guy said "I've lost the game" and every one around him groaned, I was like "What the hell was that?" and my mate Jared explained the concept of the game to me...
...I've hated him ever since...
and I hate you for also making this... this... GAH! you know what? I hate you!
5/5 - 10/10
